The chemistry lab acts as a workshop for students to learn the techniques of preparation, identification and estimation of chemical substances. Through experiments, the learners develop their practical skill, power of observation, discrimination, interpretation and handling apparatus. The settings consist of a demonstration table concrete tables provided with reagents shelves, sinks and water taps, Bunsen – burner for each pair of students, three big shelves for keeping the less frequently used reagents and chemicals, a store room, a balance room with chemical balances and electronic balances, a Kipp’s Apparatus, a fume cupboard etc. The safe and solid chemistry lab provides ample opportunities for the students to engage in scientific researches and thereby promoting their scientific interests and skills.
