Overview
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (hereafter referred to as “Policy”) outlines the procedures and guidelines related to the cancellation of prepaid card services and requests for refunds in the context of the school canteen prepaid card system. This system enables parents to recharge their child’s prepaid card for the purpose of purchasing food from the school canteen. By participating in this system, parents and students acknowledge and consent to the following cancellation and refund procedures.
1.1 Cancellation Request: In the event that a parent or guardian wishes to cancel the prepaid card service, a formal cancellation request should be submitted to the school administration.
1.2 Card Deactivation: Upon receipt of a cancellation request, the school administration will deactivate the prepaid card to prevent further use.
1.3 Remaining Balance: Any remaining balance on the prepaid card will be calculated, and the cardholder (or their parent/guardian) will be notified of the available refund amount.
2.1 Refund Request: To request a refund for the remaining balance on the prepaid card, the cardholder (or their parent/guardian) must submit a formal refund request to the school administration.
2.2 Administrative Fee: A nominal administrative fee, as determined by the school administration, may be deducted from the refund amount.
2.3 Refund Method: Refunds will be issued in the manner determined by the school administration, which may include a check or electronic transfer.
3.1 Cancellation Processing: The school administration will process cancellation requests promptly upon receipt.
3.2 **Refund Processing:** Refunds for the remaining balance will be processed in a timely manner, typically within 7 working days after the cancellation request is approved.
4.1 Unused Balances: This policy applies to unused balances on the prepaid card only. Purchases and transaction fees are non-refundable.
4.2 Card Replacement: In the event of a lost or stolen card, the procedures for deactivation and replacement (as outlined in the Disclaimer Policy) should be followed instead of cancellation and refund.
5.1 Policy Updates: The school administration reserves the right to amend this Cancellation and Refund Policy. Updates will be communicated to parents and students in a timely manner.
