Highlights

The commendable performance shown by our swimming team in various swimming competitions really made us all proud. In the State Level Swimming Championship, Master Abhinav.S. got second place in 4x50m freestyle relay. In the District Tournament also our swimmers clinched 7 medals.

In the interschool swimming  competitions held at Global Public School, we secured 13 medals and in U/8 category ,Johan Catherin  Jose ,was the individual champion .We could prove our mettle again by bagging 7 medals, in Anu Memorial Aquatic Championship ,held at Pala. The success story continued by winning 13 medals in the Tips Indian School,inter school competitions and our team stood in the 4th position.

Swimming

A high quality physical education curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in the competitive sport and other physically energising activities. As a part of physical education we have included swimming as a co-scholastic subject.

The Dolphin Aquatic Complex ensures a holistic wellness which prevents the children from falling prey to a sedentary lifestyle. Swimming enables the children practise safe self rescue in different water based situations. They derive health benefits,it provides them recreation and inspires them to follow the footsteps of Michael Phelps, the swimming legend of all time.

The Dolphin Aquatic Complex comprises of 2 pools- a main pool and a baby pool. The main pool is 25m long and 14m wide and the baby pool is extensively for the kindergarten children. The pool is designed to international standards complying with the regulations regarding temperature, lighting and hygiene. The pools have differing depths_ shallow pool and deep pool, to accommodate different swimmer requirement.Proper training is ensured under the guidance of trained coaches and life guards.
